I love this idea. The biggest distraction for me from flow state is definitely those things that come up in my mind.

The other tip I have is to ask for what you want / need. If you want the time to get into flow, never presume it will happen, make sure those around you know it's your plan. For example, the room mate may not go out on that Friday afternoon, or your husband may want his own time to flow and not care for the children etc.

A big part of finding time to flow for me has been about communication. In turn, I hold space / time for my husband when he wants his flow time.
